why we made it
notes

we kept opening a calendar app forty times a day just to check when the next call was.

the notch is always there. always on screen, always in the corner of your eye.

so we put the calendar in it. the pill, the countdown, the join button, the whole day on hover.

a calendar shouldn't be an app you open. it should be a glance.

it's free and it's native. try it and tell us what you think.

Private by design.

Native Swift, not a web app. Your calendars are read on your Mac through Apple's own framework, and nothing leaves it unless you connect Google or Notion yourself.

faq

Questions, answered.

The short version of everything people ask before they install.

Which Macs does it work on?

Any Apple silicon MacBook with a notch (2021 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. On a Mac without a notch, MeetKeeper draws a small virtual notch at the top of the main display.

Does it really show my Notion Calendar?

Yes. Notion Calendar doesn't hold events itself, it displays your Google or iCloud calendars. Add the same account under System Settings → Internet Accounts (with Calendars ticked) and MeetKeeper shows exactly what Notion Calendar shows. Events you add in MeetKeeper appear in Notion Calendar a few minutes later.

Why does macOS warn me when I first open it?

MeetKeeper is signed but not yet notarized through Apple's developer program, so macOS asks you to confirm once: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. After that it opens like any other app. The install guide walks through it.

What does quick add understand?

Plain phrases: tomorrow 3pm, fri 3-4pm, next monday, 6pm for 45 min, 9:30am. Leave the time out and it becomes an all-day event. A live preview shows the result before you save.

Can it invite people and add a Meet link?

Yes. Connect Google Calendar in Settings, then type something like Design sync with priya@acme.com tomorrow 3pm. Everyone you name gets an invitation from Google with a Google Meet link already attached. Leave out the time and MeetKeeper picks the next free slot in your own calendar.

Can I change or delete an event?

Yes. Open it in the panel and press ✎ to edit the title, the time (4pm keeps the day, fri keeps the time, all day clears it), guests and the Meet link. The bin icon deletes after a one-line confirmation; on someone else's invitation it declines instead. Google emails the guests either way. Recurring events change one occurrence only.

Is it free?

Yes. MeetKeeper is free to download and use.

Keyboard shortcuts?

⌃⌥N opens quick add from any app. Click the notch to pin the panel open, Esc closes it. ⌘N in the menu-bar menu starts a new event.

Something else? The install guide covers setup and fixes, and the privacy policy covers your data.

Never miss a meeting.
